You’re online business needs a fast website
If you’re using WordPress as your Content Management System (CMS) then you need to be running a caching program to speed up your website. I’ve tried the following two plug-ins and found them both to be excellent choices for any content management system including WordPress. I’ll say that I have started to favor W3 Total Cache and I am using that one now for this site.
What’s a caching program and why should I care?
A caching program basically takes your content (website) and puts it in a place that’s easily accessed by your web server. This is similar to the way that some fast food restaurants pre-make hamburgers and french fries before the actual customer orders them. You see they know people are going to order hambergers and french fries soon so they start making them before you order so that you can get your order as fast as possible. If it’s good enough for the fast food industry then surely it’s good enough for your online Internet business to pre-fetch or get information ready for Google and other top search engines and visitors to deliver it fast for them. The truth of the matter is no one likes a slow website and it’s much easier to click away from a slow loading website.
I’m just going to cut to the chase and give you the links necessary for WP super cache plug-in and the W3 total cache plug-in below to configure on your web hosting account.
